I just finished Game of Shadows, which was basically an enormous, steroid-ridden, scandalous rag, bound in what I take to be the double-fan adhesive style, with some black-and-white plates stuck in the middle. Needless to say, it was a pleasurable read. Now, I’m reading The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay.
